This is a report that examines user trust in Amazon One, a biometric palm-payment system, using the Human-Computer Trust Scale (HCTS). A survey of 22 participants revealed moderate trust levels, while users found the system technically competent, concerns about privacy, data handling, and regulatory safeguards were significant. Trust varied by age, gender, and tech familiarity.

After participants were recruited, they particpated in a survey regarding their trust towards Amazon and biometric payment systems. Responses were analyzed using cross-tabulations and comparisons across demographic and social variables. We then analayzed the data we collected using the Human Computer Trust Scale.
